WATAG advisory notes are also used to provide information to health services on the outcome of high-cost drug evaluations submitted to WADEP. These notices allow hospital formularies to be updated regarding new listings but advisory notes are not used to maintain the current status of hospital drug formularies. Antibiotic Use Evaluation Reports
WATAG has conducted a programme of antibiotic use evaluations at metropolitan secondary hospitals, and rural district or regional hospitals in WA. These evaluations compare observed antibiotic prescribing with the standards recommended in Therapeutic Guidelines: Antibiotic.

Clinical Guidelines
Theatre charts based on Therapeutic Guidelines: Antibiotic (Version 13). Theatre charts recommend antibiotics for prophylaxis during procedures in:
